This page will have new additions on a regular basis so keep checking back!
I attach original melodies to a variety of sacred prayers – some from the Mishkan T’filah Siddur (reform Jewish prayer book), some from other sources, some completely original.
Each are sung acapella for several minutes, to allow you to get used to the melody and perhaps sing along with me or on your own.
Jewish songs will have the English translation as well as Hebrew transliteration written here, to enhance your experience and help with pronunciation. (note here, I’m not perfect, so be forgiving please!)
My sincere wish is that these sacred chants will resonate with you and speak to your heart and soul.
Ozi V’Zimrat Yah – God is my Strength
Hebrew transliteration: Ozi V’Zimrat Yah vay’hi li lishuah
English: Adonai is my strength and might; God will be my salvation. (Exodus 15:2)
An original mantra/melody to support the act of accepting (in a non-judgemental way) whatever is going on for you right now.
